If you are hiring any special music group other than "Natheswaram and Thavil", tell the DJ board man to play the music at normal sound level. Ask one of your relative to look after the arriving guests to be served with the welcome drink on the day of the wedding.
Keep a relative to look after the wedding hall's dining section on the wedding day. Some of the wedding halls (not all) don't supply full meals to all the guests.
They used to say lot of guests came here, so the food is finished or curries are finished when only half the guests had meals.
Or they will say rice is finished and they have requested it from another wedding hall and it will come soon. Normally the rice will never make in time.
